We're building. Here's who we want building with us.
MarginArc is an early, founder-led boutique — not a big team with a big org chart. We'd rather be honest about that than dress it up. If you do excellent work, like measurable outcomes more than buzzwords, and want real ownership early, read on.
Honest roles for an honest stage.
These are the seats that matter first. Most begin as contract or founding engagements and grow into something permanent as the firm does. No fabricated team, no inflated titles.
Forward-deployed solutions engineer
You own the build: ERP and AMS integration (P21 SQL, NetSuite REST, agency systems), document-intake pipelines, orchestration on Make / n8n, and the before/after measurement harness. You like shipping into messy real-world systems and instrumenting the result — not science projects.
Delivery & change-management lead
You turn working software into adopted software. You run the data-readiness audit, set human-in-the-loop thresholds with the client's team, write the exception-handling SOPs, and make "order-takers to order-makers" stick with long-tenured staff who've seen tools come and go.
Origination associates — the network
Not consultants — a relationship layer. If your family or your hometown runs a distribution, industrial, or trades business, you can open a door no cold email ever will. You carry the relationship; we bring the expert and do the work. More on this below.
Don't see your exact role? If you're genuinely excellent at something adjacent — distribution operations, ERP/AMS consulting, financial modeling — tell us anyway.
If your family runs the business,
you already have the hardest thing.
The hardest part of this work isn't the technology — it's getting in the door with a skeptical, legacy owner. Warm access is the scarcest resource in the business. And it's exactly what a recent grad from a distribution, industrial, or trades family already has.
So we're beginning to build a small, curated origination network: people who open a door and own a trusted relationship, sitting on top of MarginArc's centralized, productized delivery. You are not the consultant. An expert scopes and closes the work; you carry the relationship, not the technical conversation.
- You introduce us to a business you genuinely know and trust.
- We bring the expert, scope it, and deliver it — well, because the relationship is yours.
- A real, instrumented result becomes a credible entrée to that owner's buying-group peers.
- You're paid as a 1099 partner, not staff — a finder's fee, a cut of the engagement, and a trailing share while the client stays. [PLACEHOLDER: illustrative; final terms per agreement]
There's a path to a real junior seat for those who want one. We curate a small cohort on purpose — these are personal relationships, and we treat them that way.
Evidence over hype
We say "here's the number and here's how we measured it," not "trust us." If you reach for buzzwords, this isn't the place.
Own the outcome
We tie our fee to results, so we hire people who think in payback and aren't done when the demo works — only when it's adopted.
Respect the operator
We work with people who've built real businesses. No condescension, no "disruption" — we earn trust the slow way and keep it.
Straightforward, and human.
A conversation with the founder, a look at real work (yours or a short paid trial on something useful), and a clear offer. No gauntlet of interviews, no take-home that quietly builds our product for free.
Because we're pre-launch, the honest pitch is range, ownership, and the chance to shape a firm from the inside — not a brand-name logo or a big guaranteed salary. If that trade is right for you, it's a rare one.
Send a short note on what you do well and a link or example. For the network, tell us about the businesses and relationships you genuinely have — not a résumé of titles.
Introduce yourselfBuild something measurable with us.
Early, honest, outcome-driven. If that's your kind of work, we want to hear from you.
